EquinoxDG principal Vaughan Woodruff recently joined This Week in Solar host Aaron Nichols to explore the nuances of connecting distributed energy resources, such as solar and storage, to the the grid. The conversation also explored Vaughan’s motivations for this work:
“One of the things that’s most exciting to me about this work is to get that power into the hands of people—to enhance people’s control over their own economic and political lives… and we do it together. There’s another opportunity here where we do it fragmented and those who have are able to step away from the grid, while the folks left behind carry the load. We need our own individual power in a way that makes sure others are also able to exercise theirs.”
